This offers a much better weld than the short arc weld found on similar products. The spacer is welded all the way around on the outside diameter of the tubing, rather than being skip welded by hand on the inside. 2013 Dodge RAM 1500 quad cab,This product was shipped very quickly and was very easy to install. I did get and alignment right after and good thing I had a 2 degree pos camber and the D/S was 2 deg towed out and the P/S was 2.5 deg out. But I knew that it was going to need it after install. I have installed HBS parts on three truck now and would recommend them to anyone.

I installed the 2.5″ leveling kit. this is a very nice product well made and easy to install. The kit came with all the parts and instructions to do the job. and made my truck look real good. and the main thing is it didn’t effect the factory ride. Great Product.

I had installed a 2.5” kit from one of your competitors but it had issues. It was very hard to get the struts back in place and after a short time my front end started to squeak. The handling was inconsistent, some bumps made you almost leave the road! I had front end vibrations in 4hi. Needless to say I was disappointed so out came that pos kit. I then did what I should have done in the first place. I got a 2″ kit from HBS and the rest is history. Your kit installed very easily and my 08 drives perfectly now. I like the way it sits and it looks good with 33″ tires. Great lift kit, great service. Way to go HBS!

I had a 2″ leveling kit installed on my 2010 bighorn ram with 20″ wheels. I am really happy with the results. According to the measurements before and after I didn’t quite get a full 2″, more like an 1 1/2″ but that was just enough to make a world of difference. My measurements still show about 1″ more room from the top of the tires to the wheel well in the rear so you may opt for the 2.5″ kit if you want true level but I am happy with a slight difference. The ride and handling are unchanged as far as I can tell. The price was excellent and I feel like it is a really high quality product and would definately recommend it. 100% satisfaction.

I installed these on my 2010 Ram1500 and now it sits almost level. I am very happy with the way it looks and the best part is that it didn’t change ride quality or handling. The kit was easy to install with just basic hand tools in about an hour. I would recommend this kit to anyone who wants to level their truck.

Shock shaft was rubbing on corner of I.d. Of leveling spacer. Couldn’t handle the squeak so I got rid of them.

Installed this kit on my 2013 ram a day ago with some 275/65r20 general GraBber at-2’s and so far so good, looks great and still drives great!
This kit was fairly easy to install. I took my time and It took me about an hour and a half per side in my driveway. I do recommend that you have a little bit of mechanical ability. Had to get an alignment and today I put on 34 inch tall tires by eleven and a half inches wide. Size 295/60R20. I actually got a
1 3/4″ lift out of the claimed 2″ kit. But that worked out perfectly. No difference in ride quality. I highly recommend it.
I had my leveling kit put on today. I had the Dodge dealership install it. total time took about 2.5 hours. I think that it looks great. I still have the stock tires and wheels on, but I know it will look even better when I get the bigger tires and nicer wheels on. We’ll see how well it holds up.
after talking to a HellBent Steel rep as to if I should order the 2″ or 2.5″ leveling kit for my 2013 ram 1500 4×4, they informed me that they recommend the 2″ for the 2013 ram’s since the upper control arm is stamped instead of cast in that year truck, and therefore a 2.5″ lift could stress the upper ball joints.
I installed the 2″ kit and am thrilled with the results. It actually leveled my truck almost perfectly to the rear (since I carry about 250-300lbs of stuff in the bed all the time) so I’m really glad I didn’t go with the 2.5″ kit. The front (was 36 3/4″ and is now 38 3/4″) is only 1/8″ lower than the rear now (38 7/8″), although it looks perfectly level.
The directions were great and the kit was easy to install. it took me about 3 hours total, using regular hand tools and a spring compressor on loan from the local auto parts store.
The ride quality has not changed any (although my new Goodyear Duratrac tires did stiffen up the ride a little over the oem Goodyear SR-A’s). I’ve also driven in 4wd and have experienced no shudder/wobble in the front driveline. The alignment shop said that the camber was still correct and the toe in was only off by 1/2 degree after the leveling kit install. I think that speaks volumes about how well this kit is designed. I’d highly recommend this kit, and Hellbent steel as a company.

Great Leveling kit. Used HBS on my 2011 Ram and now on my 2015. Very easily can fit 35’s on the truck now. Easy instal. Took 2 hrs total
