Hell Bent Steel warrants all its products to be free from defects in material and workmanship. Any defects that were not and could not have been discovered upon reasonable inspection within thirty (30) days after delivery of the product are subject to the terms and conditions stated herein. This warranty applies to all products manufactured by Hell Bent Steel for as long as the product is in use on the vehicle for which it was designed and originally installed, regardless of owner, if purchased, installed and maintained on a non-commercial vehicle in accordance with the terms and conditions stated herein. If its products are installed and maintained on a commercial vehicle in accordance with the terms and conditions stated herein, the same warranty shall apply, but only for a period of twenty-four (24) months from the date of purchase or 24,000 miles (whichever occurs first). The warranty provided herein does not apply to the cosmetic finish of any product. Hell Bent Steel reserves the right to examine all products returned under a warranty claim to determine whether there is in fact a defect in material or workmanship. At Hell Bent Steel’s option, we will either replace a defective product or refund your money in the manner it was received, which shall be the sole and exclusive remedy for any claim of defect regarding any of our products. Hell Bent Steel reserves the right to change the design of any of its products without assuming an obligation to modify any product already manufactured.
Warranty Claim Procedures.
In the event that you need to submit a warranty claim for a Hell Bent Steel product, you must complete all of the following steps:
- You must notify us of the potential defect by calling 877.731.7911 promptly after discovery, and in no event later than thirty (30) days thereafter. Do not remove the potentially defective product prior to speaking with us directly.
- During your call, you must give us a brief description of the potential defect and the date on which it was discovered. Hell Bent Steel may request pictures of the failure to be emailed prior to issuing an RMA. At that time we will provide you with a Return Merchandise Authorization (RMA) number. We will also be happy to answer any questions you may have.
- You are responsible for removing the potentially defective product from your vehicle after speaking with us. You must make reasonable efforts to protect the product from any damage during your removal and return of the product, including by re-packing the product in a manner that will ensure we receive the product in the same condition existing prior to removal.
- You must return the potentially defective product to us promptly after obtaining the RMA number, and in no event later than thirty (30) days thereafter. Your return must include the RMA number, a copy of the original receipt, your name, address and telephone number, and a written explanation of the potential defect and the date on which it was discovered. You are responsible for return shipping, including the shipping costs and risk of loss. If we choose to replace the returned product, you are responsible for re-installation.
Hell Bent Steel hereby disclaims all other warranties, express or implied, regarding its products, their fitness for any particular purpose, their quality, or their merchantability. Hell Bent Steel shall not be liable under any circumstances for any special, indirect, incidental or consequential damages, including, without limitation, for the loss of use or time, inconvenience, or the cost of procuring substitute products from any third parties. In any event, hell bent steel’s maximum liability for any claim shall be limited to the purchase price paid or replacement of the product, at hell bent steel’s sole discretion.
