Description

  • The 1/4" hot P.O. steel plate is precision CNC cut.
  • Our heavy wall tubing is a superior load-bearing member to ensure maximum stability. We use OEM style GRADE 10.9 pressed in studs, which are much stronger than grade 5 or even grade 8, as seen in similar Ford F-150 leveling lift kits. We use our custom designed, American-made broaching stud for superior strength. Look for the "HBS" on the head of the stud to ensure you have the authentic HBS spacer!
  • Our robotic-pulsed welding produces an aerospace grade weld that is higher quality than the short arc weld found on similar products. The spacer is welded all the way around on the outside diameter of the tubing, rather than being skip welded by hand on the inside. There is no chance of the welds interfering with the shock in any way. Take a look at the unfinished close-up pictures to see the quality of our welds.
  • The powder coating finish has been specially formulated for this product application. Paint just won't cut it!
  • OEM toplock flange nuts are included with every kit to ensure a proper torque specification can be met on install on maintained throughout wear.

The spacers will not add excessive pressure or cause premature wear to your suspension. *Please Note: The thickness of the spacer is 1.625". Due to the design of the independent suspension of the truck, when you extend the strut by 1.625” the angle of the strut becomes steeper allowing the truck to experience approximately 2.5” of lift. It is the combination of extending the strut and the change in angle that gives the 2.5” lift. Remember that the installation is not complete until you have had the truck realigned. This is when you will see the true 2.5" lift that you are expecting.

*Our leveling kits are designed and tested with 33” tires on factory wheels. However, we have many customers who are running 35” tires without any problems. Please visit our Ford F-150 leveling kit FAQ section for more information.

    Good kit. Purchased the 2.5" spacers for my 2004 Fx4 Supercrew. Took two of us few hours. I didn't understand how everyone says they did it in 1 hour and half. I guess if your not afraid to break something. We really fought the ball joint bolt and the main bolt bottom of the strut. We were able to not even have to take the tie rod bolt out. Just had to angle the strut in and out right. Other side went faster. But i don't think its just every day tools laying around garage. Thats what i read in other reviews. Not everyone has impacts, airtools, up to 30mm. The torque specs they call for, i had tough time finding a wrench to do 350 ft lbs. Most automotive places didnt have more than 250 ft lbs. wrenches. Looked great when i was done. Think more difficult than people say, and tools not just laying around in garage.

    Same as everyone else looking for a leveling kit, I didn't like the stock sag in the front end. We put them on in just a few hours. Follow the directions, and it's an easy install. It looks great. I have 265/70-17's and they don't look too small. There is enough room to get a bigger tire there. The next install will be a 1" block lift in the back. For the money, I will be buying again in the future!

    Also, FOLLOW THE DIRECTIONS! I left them at my house for the driver side. Then my mother dropped them off to my dad and I and it went much faster. Driver side 3 hours, Passenger side 30 min

    I never liked the way my 2004 Supercrew sagged in the front end. I purchased the 2.5" spacers, installed them in my driveway and had the truck aligned. It looks like a totally different truck. My neighbor noticed the difference in just a couple of days and said he would be getting a set also.

    I purchased and installed this system on my 2005 Supercrew and it has performed flawlessly. I installed it in just a couple of hours with common hand tools. The truch looks so much better with a level stance. I would highly recommend it to anyone wantin a little lift in the front. My only question is what about my Jeep Wrangler now?

    Kit was exactly what they said it was. Installation was a breeze in my driveway with just a handfull of everyday tools needed. I would definetly reccomend this kit. There is no need to pay a higher price for the same quality product. Just one question though what about my Jeep now??

    The kit is well made and powder coat is great. Easy to install took me about two hours start to finish. Truck handles and looks great. HBS has a great product at a great price. The shipping was fast also. I will use their kits on all my trucks.

    I bought this for my 05' F-150 it is easy to install, i did it in about 2 hours(not exaggerating) with an electric impact a couple of jack stands, basic hand tools and some common sense. Get an alignment after and it looks amazing you can instantly tell the difference between your leveled truck and a stock one. I would buy again in a heartbeat. For the 04,05 F-150 the 2.5" is bang on level for the 06+ i would look into the 2" kit due to the fact that they use a smaller rear block from factory. Do not hesitate i have had this on my truck for 7+ months and haven't turned back.

    Installed the kit a year ago, have had zero problems with it. The first side took about an hour to install, the second about 20 min. since I had the tools out and knew what I was doing. I'm running 35" tires on the factory wheels with no rubbing. My brother in law was so impressed he ordered the same kit for his truck and we installed it, now he's running 35's too. IMO the best leveling kit on the market, not to mention it cost way less than any other kit you may find.

    Installs easy, better product and more affordable than the competetors. Note to buyers; remember to use some sort of thread lock i torqed the nuts down but they loosened after a while. Besides that no complaints and the best part.......they are actually made in america which means no shipping delays due to some stupid chinese holiday!!!!

    Cheap and easy to install. Instructions are great and clear, a buddy and some hand tools and you'll have a leveled truck in a couple hours. I run 33" nitto mud grapplers and have had the level in for 6 months now no problems at all.

    2 hour install time + basic wrench skills= perfectly leveled truck with quality looks and superior parts to back it up. The 2.5" HBS leveling kit is the only way to go. 35 inch Mud Grapplers on factory wheels..wouldn't have it any other way. If your on the fence about whether or not to add a HBS leveling kit to your truck.. Just do it! You won't be disappointed.

    Had the kit on my 06 FX4 for over 30k miles. Installed 285/65-18 Nitto Terra Grapplers at the same time. Install was easy and instructions very good. Very impressed with the craftsmanship and quality. Always recommend HBS when somebody asks about the truck.

    Great kit. 2004 F150 XLT. Leveled truck perfectly. Am now running 295/70/18 Nitto Terra Grapplers on 2008 stock Eddie Bauer Alum. Expedition Wheels with no problems. Have gotten more complements on my truck since installation than since new. Rides like a truck now. Recomended product to a friend for a Toyota and he is very happy also.

    For the price you couldn't get a better quality product. The installation process was quick and easy. The truck looks a 100% better like a real truck!! I have 20" wheels with Nitto Terra Grapplers that go well with the leveling kit.

    I reviewed this kit after i installed it on my 04 f150 supercrew and now that i have put 20,000 on it and it is still in new condition and haven't had any problems with it. The alignment on it is still good and my tires have wore evenly so far. Very happy with it and i woud deffently buy for hell bent steel again. Best kit hands down.

    Put 2.5" leveling kit on 06 f150 and love it. It made the front sit maybe 1/4" higher but u cannot tell! Very durable but dont forget to check the nuts for the first few weeks. I had one back off but luckily i had another one handy! Love the product and have referred several friends because of quality, price, and quick delivery! I didnt put it on myself because i didnt have a way to jack up the front end but have heard it is not that hard

    one Hell of a good product and i have had this level kit in my truck for almost two years and have had zero issues. it is a very well welded product and gave me the look i needed and let me run the 35in tires i needed. A+ in every way!!!

    I installed these spacers on a 2008 F150- Super crew 4x4.
    Easy install, took me about an hour total. and made it look like it has a lift.
    was running 31" firestone Destination M/T.
    Am running 33" Nitto Grapplers, have enough clearance for both, without rubbing.
    Over all a great product!!!!!

    Super easy installation. 1 hr per-side with standard garage tools and a buddy. Looks great and allowed me to put on bigger tires.

    This kit is the best, easy installation, brings the front up to match the rear, also very economical way to give the F150 FX4 a more aggressive stance without sacrificing handling and comfort.. Went with 295/70 on my stock 18" rims.     I can't imagine there being a better more well built leveling kit on the market. I have had it on my truck for a year and a half and have had nothing but compliments. When asked about levling kits I direct everyone to hellbent steel. Easy to install in a couple hours. I am running 285/70 17 Nitto Terra Grapplers and the combo looks great

    Ordered, Shipped, and received the 2.5" kit in about 3 days! I purchased to be able to fit some Nitto Terra Grapplers 305/55/20's on an otherwise stock FX4 without having to trim or worry about rubbing and wasn't ready to put on a full lift kit for height clearance issues where I live. The actual height adjustment worked perfect as far a the overall front-to-back ratio and looks very clean and professional. Highly recommended and would do business again!

    This kit is inexpensive and very well built. And it RUINS YOUR ALIGNMENT. Even after having an alignment job done, my tires were destroyed in 10,000 miles thanks to the kit causing uneven wear on the outside tread.

    I ordered the leveling kit for my 2006 F140 4x4 and was extremely pleased with the product. Install was 2-3 hours with basic tools. Very easy if you are mechanically inclined. With this kit I was able to mount and clear 315/70/17 BFG A/Ts. They look great!! One quick note, my truck has heavy duty front springs and therefore limited me to 2.5" only. I purchased the 3" but had to swap it for 2.5" because the 3" rubbed my strut spring.

    I purchased this leveling kit and had it installed on my 04 F-150...it made a world of difference to the overall appearance of the truck...the price is right, the quality is exceptional and ill be purchasing all my leveling kits for future trucks from Hell Bent...keep up the good work guys!!!

    Installed 2.5" Steel Spacers on a 2006 F150 FX4 Crew Cab - 325/65/18 Cooper STT tires, Clears excellent with no rubbing. Very well built and would definitly buy again! These have been installed almost one year as of today - 9/28/2011.

    I've had my HBS level kit for over a year and I have had 0 trouble and lots of compliments! Delivery was fast, quality of build was very high and installation went off without a hitch! I would recommend this product to anyone.

    The 2.5" kit leveled out my 04 F-150 SC and allowed just enough clearance for my 33" Nitto's. Looks awesome. Installation was more than I could muster as the spring removal is a PITA. The additional angle change also revealed a weak CV Joint. Despite that I would do it all again. Do yourself a favor and if you do not have a good set of spring compressors let a pro install.

    Got this in today, I'd ordered it on Tuesday morning (it's now Thursday morning)! Opened the box and WOW! Those things are stout! Very well built, welds look great, the powdercoating is even and very pleasant to the eye. Can't wait to put them on!

    I ordered the leveling kit on a Friday and received on the following Monday. Took 2 to 3 hours sitting in the driveway to install. Very easy to install and the directions are very easy to follow. Put a set of Mickey Thompson mtz's 315/70/17 tires and they clear with no rubbing. Very happy with the service I received and I will buy from Hell Bent Steel again.
