Description

The 1/4" hot P.O. steel plate is precision CNC cut.
Our heavy wall tubing is a superior load-bearing member to ensure maximum stability. We use OEM style GRADE 10.9 pressed in studs, which are much stronger than grade 5 or even grade 8, as seen in similar kits. We use our custom designed, American-made broaching stud for superior strength. Look for the "HBS" on the head of the stud to ensure you have the authentic HBS spacer!
Our robotic-pulsed welding produces an aerospace grade weld that is higher quality than the short arc weld found on similar products. The spacer is welded all the way around on the outside diameter of the tubing, rather than being skip welded by hand on the inside. There is no chance of the welds interfering with the shock in any way. Take a look at the unfinished close-up pictures to see the quality of our welds.
The powder coating finish has been specially formulated for this product application. Paint just won't cut it!
OEM toplock flange nuts are included with every kit to ensure a proper torque specification can be met on install on maintained throughout wear.

Put this on my 2006 Ram 1500, 4x4 quad cab. It wasn't exactly simple to install, but we did it at home in a few hours. Probably would have been simple to install on a brand new truck, before the factory bolts get so hard to remove... Regardless, the truck sits level now and looks great. Kept factory 20" wheels, but threw some 35x12.5 Nitto Trail Grapplers on there. Truck looks tough now! This leveling kit is a great way to give your truck a new tough look w/o spending a bunch of money.

I have had this 2.5" leveling kit on my 2007 Ram Big Horn for some time now. I love the fact I was able to put some 35's on my truck. The truth is, when I pull up to the same truck something doesn't look right. Then I remember I have this kit. It's like it should have come from the factory this way.

I bought the 2.5" leveling kit for my 2007 ram 1500. Installation was very easy once I got past a couple of stubborn factory fasteners. The kit brought the front end of my truck up to exactly where I wanted it. I kept my stock 20" wheels, but upgraded the tires to a set of slightly larger than factory 35" goodyear duratracs. After an alignment my truck handles great. I would highly suggest HBS to anyone who is looking for a high quality kit that is easy and affordable.

Bought this kit 2 yrs ago. I installed myself and found the instructions to be top notch. It is simply the best level kit you can buy for the new gen Dodge Rams. If you want to stand out and among the rest go with Hell Bent Steel!!!!!

I bought the 2.5" leveling kit for my 2006 Ram 1500. Installation was fairly easy and the step by step instructions was a huge help! Since buying this kit I have replaced my old 20" rims and tires with 17" rims with 34.5" goodyear duratracs. My truck handles great and looks awsome! I only wish that I had bought this kit sooner. Thanks HBS!

Bought the 2.5 leveling kit for my '07 Ram 1500 year and a half ago. Allowed me fit 35x12.5x 20in nitto mud grapplers on it. The lift did not affect the handling at all. I am well pleased with Hell Bent Steel products

I bought the 2.5" leveling kit for my 2007 Dodge Ram 1500 from Hell Bent Steel for the low price of $80.00 plus S/H, and for only $249 had it installed.

The sales rep at the suspension shop where I had the kit installed originally quoted me $600.00 if I bought the kit through them. After I had them install the Hell Bent Steel kit, the mechanic at the shop quietly told me that not only was their price way too high, but the the Hell Bent Steel kit was much higher quality than the one they used.

After having the kit installed and then new tires, going from 245's to 295's, it made a huge difference in the stance and overall look of the truck.

Excellent product, I just wish that their was a 7 star button...I think 5 stars is just not enough!!!

I got this kit in hopes of just getting up a little higher and it definitely worked. 80% of the time, I am on regular streets and roads, but the other 20% I have beat the hell out of my suspension (off-roading, mudding, and trail/field riding) with absolutely no problems from these leveling pieces. Not only did it level out the truck, it makes it seem like there is a lift kit to most people who don't know what they are looking at. The only "drawback" is that my wife doesn't enjoy driving the truck any more because she can't see past the hood... did I say there was a drawback? sorry... no drawbacks...

Excellent leveling kit I get compliments weekly about how beefy my 1500 looks just with a level and 34.5 inch tires they wouldn't have fit without the leveling kit get the 2.5 it's perfect on 1500 rams!
